SET 2 · Outdoor Display

Built for the weather, not sheltered from it

A 55 inch digital bulletin board designed exclusively for outdoor use. Sealed, heated, cooled and remotely managed.

Built for the weather, not sheltered from it

An outdoor display is not a bright indoor display in a box. It has to survive rain, dust, freezing mornings and the inside of its own enclosure on a hot afternoon — and it has to keep doing that without someone driving out to look at it.

Our outdoor bulletin board is built around that. The panel runs at 4000 cd/m², the enclosure is IP65 rated against water and dust, and a control board handles scheduled power, temperature measurement, and the fan and heater. Brightness adjusts automatically, and the device can be controlled remotely.

Where these end up

Municipal notice boards

Scheduled power means the board sleeps overnight and wakes before the commute.

Transit stops and shelters

Readable at a glance, at a distance, in weather.

Forecourts and parking

Pricing and wayfinding that survives a winter without a service visit.

Campus and site entrances

Remote control means the message changes without anyone standing in front of it.

Outdoor display questions

The 6 means dust-tight; the 5 means protected against water jets from any direction. In practice: rain, hosing and windblown dust.
The heater is about condensation as much as cold. Warm, humid air meeting a cold panel is what fogs an enclosure from the inside.
Yes. The control board handles scheduled power on and off, which is also the cheapest way to extend panel life.
Automatically, with remote override. A board at full output at midnight is wasted power and unwanted light.

Outdoor is a system, not a panel

Sealing, heating, scheduling and mounting all have to agree with each other. Tell us the site and we will spec the whole thing.
